“We were first introduced to Carmel through a mutual friend and after our first meeting we both knew she was the perfect fit for our Commitment Ceremony. Being in a same-sex relationship we were reluctant, at first, due to fear of scrutiny or being judged. However, Carmel was an attentive, empathetic listener and such a kind, caring, gentle soul. 

It was very important to us that our celebrant understood how we felt about our same-sex union and what was said during our ceremony and throughout the whole experience. Carmel always made the both of us feel as though our feelings were taken on board which showed throughout our special day.
